James Kent
Jim is a marketing writer by day film podcaster by night. He is a lifelong movie fan who loves discussing the filmgoing experience with his friend of over thirty years, Teal. Jim seeks out films in the theater whenever possible and is known to make treks to theaters still showing movies on 35mm. He supports movies projected in 70mm and makes it a point to see a screening in the large format whenever there is a showing he can get to.
Jim received his BA in film and television production from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and his MBA from Northeastern University.
Teal Minton
Teal is a writer by trade and inclination who worked on and off in the film industry as an editor, camera operator, director, and screenwriter. His fiction has appeared in McSweeney’s, 5Chapters, and Zyzzyva among others. For over a decade, Teal has taught screenwriting, fiction, and film studies at the college level. He currently teaches for an MFA program. Throughout the decades he never stopped talking to Jim about movies.
Teal received his BA from Antioch University and an MFA in fiction from The Iowa Writers’ Workshop.
